The Department received a single audit finding focusing on the monitoring aspect and we need to have a way fulfill the integrity gap. There were unexpected delays between the program office staff and vendor to complete the original agreed upon work in the original EP. Additional time is needed to complete the work. No additional dollars are needed. The true end date is 2/28/2023. The 1st extension to 7/31/2022 was needed to have time to amend the original Guidehouse scope of work which is attached.

Justification for Extension:
|
The EP provides for the ability to continue to complete the work through 2/28/23 with approval of the amendment of scope. It is taking longer to complete the work that was approved on the original EP. Additional time is needed for no additional costs. The original EP had used only funding expiring on 9/30/22 for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP1) funding from the CAREs Act. However, we received ARP (American Rescue Plan) funding to fund a second round of Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP2). We have moved funding around so a portion expires on the original 9/30/22 date. The extension is to cover our single audit finding to address fiscal monitoring into the scope of work.
